Engagement Three

Certification Program
Design

If you have a method that works, other practitioners will pay to be certified in it. This is the highest-margin revenue stream available to an expert, and it is the one most often missed.

$15,000 TO $25,000 REVENUE OR A REDUCED FEE AGAINST A ROYALTY ON CERTIFICATION

A Certification Program Earns Three Ways

1.

The certification fee. Paid once.

2.

An annual renewal. Recurs for as long as the practitioner practices.

3.

The revenue attached to the certification. The subscriptions, materials, or licenses that each certified practitioner's clients purchase.

The one most programs never build

The third stream is usually larger than the first two combined. It is also the one most programs never build, because it has to be designed into the structure at the beginning and cannot be added later without renegotiating with every practitioner previously certified.

Certification Program Deliverables

  • Certification structure and levels.
  • Curriculum, standards, and assessment.
  • Fee architecture. Certification, renewal, and accompanying revenue.
  • Quality control, audit, and revocation.
  • Legal and trademark framework. Built in coordination with your counsel.
  • Recruitment and launch sequence for the first cohort.
  • Roll-out plan. How the program scales past the first cohort, and who trains the trainers.

Built on Real-World Experience

My expertise is rooted in real-world success. I successfully scaled and exited a seven-figure franchise venture, providing me with knowledge of systematizing intellectual property, methods, and patents for widespread adoption and consistent execution.

As CEO of StopStutter, I identified the certification potential of speech language pathologists, a global industry of an estimated 500,000 clinicians.  I then authored the SLP Certification Program which will soon be launched.  I understand how to create robust legal foundations, high-level curriculum standards, and strategic royalty models that drive significant business growth.

$15,000 to $25,000 as a fixed fee. Alternatively, I’ll reduce my fee against a royalty on certification revenue, which puts my compensation on the same side of the table as yours.
