Created StopStutter: From a Method to a Scalable Business
My father, Lee Lovett, developed a revolutionary stuttering treatment, wrote several books, and
provided free stuttering therapy over Skype to hundreds of stutterers. For him, it was a
humanitarian mission, solo operated, and his reach was limited by the hours on his calendar. In 2021 I took his successful method and began to build a scalable business model with an extraordinary financial future. It is now called StopStutter (SSI).
Â
Today, SSI is built on multiple revenue streams: 1. Private Stuttering Therapy, priced at $949 (10 sessions), $529 (5 sessions), and $349 (3 sessions). All packages may be purchased with affordable weekly installments. Therapy sessions are provided by Certified Stuttering Specialists (CSS), who are ex-stutterers trained and certified by SSI. There are no long term growth constraints to creating CSS, and providing therapy services 2. Subscriptions to mobile app and website program (sold together): the Guided Learning Track, priced at $799 annual or $99/month; and, the Self-Learning Track, priced at $299 annual or $39/month. Subscription sales and access occur automatically and have no growth constraints, and, 3. a soon-to-be launched Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification Program in which SLPs are trained to provide stuttering therapy using the Neuroscience Method®. SLPs will be charged a one-time certification fee, and annual renewal fee, and required to ensure all stuttering clients subscribe to SSI's program. With an estimated 500,000 global SLPs, this profit center offers the business its greatest financial potential.

Leadership Beyond Business
I co-founded Place of Hope, provided its seed capital, and served as Board Chairman from 2000 to 2005.  Place of Hope takes in children, youth and families in crisis and runs neighborhood foster care, transitional housing and independent living for young adults aging out of the system, maternity care for teenagers, education and enrichment programs, human trafficking prevention and intervention, family strengthening, and food insecurity work.  Today, it has served more than 450,000 children, youth, and families.
Why I Created Lovett Growth Strategy
Creating SSI's scalable business model to help the world's stutterers find fluency was, along with Place of Hope, the most gratifying work I have ever done. Because they cannot freely communicate, stutterers often live in fear, isolation, and depression. I have watched hundreds achieve fluency and life transformations and I am grateful to have been a part of their journey.
Â
I also loved the creative aspect of transforming a great idea and method to a scalable business model.  Today, I am taking a lifetime of business experience, and particularly what was honed these past five years, to help others achieve their dreams.
Personally
I have been married 37 years to my beautiful wife, Pamela. I have been blessed with six grown children and six grandchildren. I am a man of faith and measure my life by the number of people I impact for good.
